CRIECS

The Research Center will be established in 2023 near Rieti. The Center consists of three partners: the University of Tuscia, Sapienza University of Rome and the Science and Technology Park of Upper Lazio.

CRIECS consists of a network of inter-university research laboratories with high technological content, open to business and the local area, allowing the integration and systemization of instrumental capabilities and technological competencies between the world of research and the business and industrial worlds on different research fields.

The activities are aimed at co-designing with companies and entities in the area on issues consistent with the competitive repositioning of industrial supply chains and the strengthening of the area’s innovation ecosystem, accelerating the exploitation of research results and structuring an increasingly adequate range of innovation services to support the development of existing companies in the area, those that would like to establish themselves in the Rieti area and innovative startups.

Scientific investigations are carried out in an interdisciplinary manner, with special reference to certain thematic areas, and are supported by innovative and quality equipment and machinery functional to the development of all lines of research.
