The olive-growing sector of Sabina Reatina represents a relevant crop sector, which was chosen as a pilot area to experiment with digitization in production sectors related to tree crops. In connection with the activities carried out, parcels of land from the various local farms that joined the project, located in the municipalities of Fara in Sabina, Poggio Moiano, Scandriglia and Poggio Nativo, were carefully collected and digitized.

Additional activities involved defining the technical characteristics of the proximal sensors to be installed in the pilot farms and their integration into the digital system developed for the project, as well as specific training of the personnel involved, aimed at effective use of the digital platform.

In this context, the first online meetings were organized to introduce and facilitate the use of the data collection platform, a key tool for uploading, processing and analyzing information regarding agricultural productions participating in the project.
